About the Role

The General Virtual Assistant role is a critical component of Ateneo de Manila University's remote operations, providing administrative support to ensure seamless day-to-day functioning. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing email and inbox correspondence, coordinating calendars, and handling inbound and outbound calls. Your ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, will be essential in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and organize email and inbox correspondence, including sorting, flagging, responding, and following up on messages
  • Coordinate and maintain calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings, and sending reminders as needed
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare, format, and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Provide general administrative support and complete ad hoc tasks as assigned
  • Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information
  • Conduct research and gather data to support various projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in virtual assistance

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a remote or BPO setting
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Reliable computer or laptop and headset for remote work
  • Stable, high-speed internet connection
