Job Description

About the Role

As a German speaking Sales Lead DACH at Leapsome, you will be responsible for leading and growing a Berlin-based team of Account Executives. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth, scaling the sales team, and contributing to the company's overall success. You will report to the Global VP of Sales and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve your goals. The role entails a deep understanding of the DACH market and the ability to navigate complex sales processes. You will be expected to develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and objectives. As the Sales Lead, you will be a culture carrier, embodying Leapsome's values and promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity within your team.

What You Will Do

  • Hire, onboard, and coach a growing team of Account Executives in Berlin
  • Own team quota performance and ensure consistent pipeline growth, deal execution, and revenue delivery
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the DACH region
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, and Product to create a seamless customer journey
  • Foster agility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • Drive productivity through process excellence, leveraging AI and automation to enable your team
  • Analyze sales performance and provide data-driven insights to optimize sales processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DACH region
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies

What We Are Looking For

  • Fluency in German and strong English skills
  • Experience in high-velocity and/or SMB sales (SaaS/B2B preferred)
  • Proven track record of managing sales teams or high-performing sales experience
  • Strong operational mindset and comfort with AI and automation
  • Exposure to quota ownership and forecasting
  • Hands-on, coaching-first leadership style
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in HR Tech or a related industry
  • Knowledge of Adjust and Excel
  • Certification in sales or a related field
  • Experience with sales automation tools and CRM software
