About the Role

The Global Account Manager position at Ecolab is a senior sales leadership role that entails driving growth across key accounts by delivering innovative solutions in cleaning, safety, and sustainability. As a trusted advisor and brand ambassador, the successful candidate will own the full sales cycle, build strong customer relationships, and lead complex negotiations while identifying new business opportunities. What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth across key accounts
  • Build and leverage effective business relationships to create value for customers and the company
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract renewals, including contractual terms and conditions, KPIs, pricing, and product mix management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceed business objectives
  • Stay informed about industry changes and trends, and proactively communicate current market information to management
  • Manage travel expenses against budget and act as a brand ambassador for Ecolab
  • Develop customer-specific strategies and strong relationships with international and global customers
  • Meet key business planning and reporting requirements, including viable sales pipeline, quarterly and annual sales plans, and progress on account penetration
  • Share best practices for sales skills and behaviors with team members
  • Act with integrity and create a positive and inclusive working culture for all associates

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a business-to-business sales environment, preferably in a direct sales and service management role
  • University degree in a business-related subject
  • Superior end-to-end sales skills with a proven track record of success in sales management
  • Strong customer service skills and integrity, with an extraordinary ability to develop relationships with senior customer decision-makers
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills, with the ability to work independently and set own schedule
  • Proven initiative to improve, innovate, and create value
  • Sound commercial business understanding, including financial acumen and analytical ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer needs
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools, including Excel and customer relationship management software
  • Fluency in English and German

  • Experience in facility management, hospitality, or related industries
  • Knowledge of the French market and business culture
  • Certification in sales or a related field
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
