## About the Role The Global Events Manager at Twilio is a key player in shaping the company's flagship events, including the annual SIGNAL conference. This role requires a unique blend of strategic event planning, creative vision, and meticulous project management. As the primary architect of Twilio's most significant brand moments, the Global Events Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle of these events, from collaborating with global stakeholders on high-level strategy and production to overseeing budget and project management. The successful candidate will be a strategic event marketer with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, impactful events that align with business objectives. They will be a creative powerhouse who can navigate the complexities of a large-scale user conference while ensuring seamless execution across multiple regions. ## What You Will Do - Lead the strategy and production of Twilio's flagship events, including SIGNAL - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate event strategies into broader marketing initiatives - Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of events, from planning to execution - Manage complex event logistics, including venue sourcing, budget management, and vendor coordination - Develop and manage multi-million dollar event budgets, prioritizing cost-effectiveness and ROI reporting - Lead global status meetings and drive rigorous project timelines to ensure all tasks and deadlines are met - Ensure seamless execution of events across multiple regions, including LATAM, EMEA, and APJ - Collaborate with leadership, product marketing, GTM sales, and brand creative teams to understand their needs and incorporate them into event planning - Act as the central hub for events, ensuring a unified brand voice and consistent messaging

## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably in the tech industry - Proven track record of delivering large-scale, impactful events that align with business objectives - Strong understanding of GTM and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions - Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple workstreams - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams - Experience with budget management and ROI reporting - Ability to navigate complex event logistics and ensure seamless execution - Strong creative vision and attention to detail
