About the Role
The Global Institutional Sales role at King Deux is a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join a leading virtual asset investment manager and contribute to the company's expansion into global markets. As a key member of the business development team, you will be responsible for sourcing, cultivating, and onboarding institutional and prospective clients to accelerate AUM growth. Your expertise in institutional sales, combined with your knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, will enable you to effectively articulate the company's value proposition and build enduring client relationships.The role is based in Hong Kong, but as a remote-friendly company, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, provided you have a reliable internet connection and a strong work ethic. You will be expected to work closely with the portfolio management, trading, and operations teams to optimize client delivery and provide exceptional service to your clients.
In this role, you will be expected to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments, gathering competitive intelligence and client feedback to guide product development and corporate strategy. Your ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies will be essential to your success in this position.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow AUM and expand the company's global reach
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and other potential clients
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay ahead of the competition
- Collaborate with the portfolio management team to develop and implement investment strategies that meet the needs of your clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional service and support to ensure long-term partnerships
- Develop and deliver presentations to clients and prospective clients, articulating the company's value proposition and investment strategies
- Work closely with the trading and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of trades and exceptional client service
- Participate in industry conferences and events to promote the company's brand and build relationships with potential clients
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and industry developments, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, including virtual asset investment portfolios and cryptocurrency trading strategies
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of sales experience within institutional or wholesale asset management, preferably with a focus on virtual assets and cryptocurrencies
- An established network of contacts within the institutional investor ecosystem, including family offices, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds
- A solid grasp of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the broader virtual asset industry
- Strong financial modeling, investment analysis, and market research capabilities
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
- HKSI Paper 1 qualification or equivalent, highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
