About the Role
The Global Immigration Leader plays a critical role in ensuring that GE Vernova's global workforce can move freely and compliantly across borders. This involves developing and implementing a comprehensive immigration strategy that aligns with the company's business priorities and risk management goals. As a key member of the HR team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to provide expert guidance on immigration-related matters and drive process improvement initiatives.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of global immigration laws and regulations, as well as experience in managing complex immigration programs. You will be responsible for leading a team of immigration experts and working closely with external vendors and counsel to ensure that GE Vernova's immigration programs are efficient, effective, and compliant.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global immigration strategy that aligns with GE Vernova's business priorities and risk management goals
- Provide expert guidance on immigration-related matters to stakeholders across the organization
- Lead a team of immigration experts and manage external vendors and counsel
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and business stakeholders to develop and implement immigration programs and policies
- Develop and manage budgets for immigration-related costs
- Analyze and mitigate risks associated with global immigration
- Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with global immigration laws and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives
- Develop and deliver training programs for HR teams, managers, and key stakeholders on immigration policies and procedures
- Manage complex escalations and sensitive cases, balancing legal requirements, business urgency, employee experience, and reputational considerations
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, legal studies, international relations, or a related field
- Significant years of progressive experience in global immigration, mobility, HR compliance, or a related area
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing immigration programs, teams, vendors, or external counsel
- Fluency in English
- Experience in managing complex immigration programs and developing immigration strategies
- Knowledge of global immigration laws and regulations
- Experience in managing budgets and forecasting immigration-related costs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
