About the Role
The Global Lean Leader role at GE Vernova is a unique opportunity to drive cultural transformation and operational improvement in a global organization. As a lean expert, you will partner with operating leaders to coach, drive, and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools. Your primary focus will be on driving step-change in operational business metrics and contributing to the creation and implementation of best practice lean vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.The role entails working closely with the management team and key business stakeholders to develop a robust continuous improvement strategy. You will also provide project management, analytical, and research skills and expertise to support business improvement initiatives. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide expertise, professional advice, and guidance to the business will be crucial in this role.

What You Will Do
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice lean vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational and transactional performance
- Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the management team and key business stakeholders
- Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvement in a Toyota Lean style
- Provide project management, analytical, and research skills and expertise to support business improvement initiatives
- Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones, and actions necessary to ensure success
- Define, develop, and publish business improvement process documentation to reflect best practice
- Lead, define, and develop continuous improvement activities designed to improve performance, such as the planning and running of lean events
- Attend various meetings and take care of/follow up on actions
- Produce written reports and make presentations
- Undertake continuous training and development
- Contribute and support the operational rhythm
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
- Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
- Support automation and robotization projects in manufacturing and logistics from a lean perspective
- Align 3P with automation and robotics integrations
- Support make or buy evaluations
- Evaluate and deploy good practices and new AI opportunities
- Perform intra-functional VSM
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field
- Fluent English
- Finance acumen
- Project management skills
- Communication and presentation skills
- Lean expertise: 5S, SW, VSM, SMED, Single Piece Flow, Strategy Deployment, Kanban, Heijunka, daily management @ genba, SQDIP/SQDC, VOC, Action Planning
- Problem-solving skills and root cause analysis capabilities
- Kaizen facilitation experience
- Experience working in a global organization
- Ability to work in a remote setting and manage virtual teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with automation and robotization projects
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning
- Experience with lean in a manufacturing or logistics setting
- Certification in lean or a related field
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
