Job Description

About the Role

The Global Payroll Operations Manager will play a crucial role in managing DoiT's international payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of payroll information across over 15 countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing workstreams and schedules to ensure seamless payroll operations. As part of the finance team, the Global Payroll Operations Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including equity, tax, accounting, and benefits teams.

The role requires a deep understanding of global payroll operations, including knowledge of US, EMEA, and other international payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with HRIS systems and advanced spreadsheet skills, including Excel. The ability to drive big-picture thinking to the ground level and prioritize tasks effectively is essential in this dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

  • Manage end-to-end global payroll operations, including overseeing workstreams and schedules to ensure timely preparation of payroll information
  • Prepare and analyze payroll forecasting and reporting, including ad-hoc requests and financial reporting
  • Balance and reconcile payroll to the financial general ledger
  • Track and report on bonus and severance accruals
  • Procure new vendors and manage existing relationships for payroll systems, establishing SLAs and KPIs
  • Ensure tax compliance, including filing quarterly and annual payroll tax reports
  • Manage employee experience related to the ESOP program and exercise process
  • Support system implementation of new equity management tools
  • Provide a world-class service model for employees
  • Lead special projects related to payroll operations and compliance
  • Lead enrollment projects to pension and insurances for employees
  • Point of contact for contractors' costs, invoices, and Q&A
  • Drive payroll innovation and ongoing process improvements

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in payroll, with global payroll exposure
  • Knowledge of US, EMEA, and other international payroll processes
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and advanced spreadsheet skills, including Excel
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly-changing environment
  • Strong understanding of interdependencies with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work with ambiguity
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with relevant experience
  • Master's degree in business administration (advantageous)
