About the Role

The Global Sales Director for Freeze-Dried Ingredients will play a crucial role in expanding market presence, driving revenue, and building long-term strategic relationships across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. This role requires deep expertise in freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, strong B2B sales capability, and an established international network. As a key member of the commercial team, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure compliance with EU/USA food safety, labeling, and sustainability standards.

The role entails managing and growing strategic accounts in freeze-dried ingredients, identifying new business opportunities, and developing tailored sales plans aligned with market trends and company objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B and private label, as well as experience working with a leading international freeze-dried manufacturer.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and grow strategic accounts in freeze-dried ingredients
  • Identify, target, and acquire new customers using market intelligence and competitive insights
  • Develop and execute tailored sales plans aligned with market trends and company objectives
  • Lead pricing, terms, and long-term agreements with key accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality
  • Ensure adherence to EU/USA food safety, labeling, and sustainability standards
  • Monitor account metrics, anticipate risks, and resolve challenges proactively
  • Represent the company in international markets, navigating cultural and regulatory differences

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development of freeze-dried products (fruits, vegetables)
  • Strong exposure to EU and USA markets
  • Experience with a leading international freeze-dried manufacturer
  • Based in Europe, with an established network of customers, distributors, and key accounts
  • Solid understanding of B2B and private label
  • Proven ability to open new markets and build long-term relationships
  • Strong knowledge of EU/USA quality standards and certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, Food Science (MBA is a plus)
  • Strong skills in market analysis, account management, and data-driven decision-making
