About the Role

The Google Ads Media Buyer role is a critical component of GT Ecom's performance marketing team, responsible for managing large product catalogs and high monthly ad spend. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Google Ads strategies that drive real revenue growth. You will work closely with the team to elevate campaign structure, strategy, and overall account performance, ensuring that ad spend translates into scalable and profitable growth.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement new or improved Google Ads strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Restructure and optimize Google Shopping and PMAX campaigns for better scalability and efficiency
  • Drive measurable performance improvements that result in a 20%+ increase in revenue from Google Ads
  • Take full ownership of Google Ads accounts, including campaign structure, bidding strategy, and feed optimization
  • Build automation systems, scripts, or workflows that improve campaign efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Use data insights to continuously refine bidding strategies, segmentation, and feed performance
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement A/B testing and experimentation plans
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Ads features, best practices, and industry trends

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads for eCommerce
  • Direct experience managing large Google Shopping accounts (10,000+ products)
  • Personal experience managing Google Ads accounts end-to-end, including strategy, optimization, and performance analysis
  • Experience handling high-budget campaigns ($300K+ monthly ad spend)
  • Comfortable owning and managing accounts independently (excluding creative production)
  • Experience building or implementing automations (scripts, feed rules, automation workflows, or similar tools)
  • Strong expertise in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Google Analytics
  • Experience with Google CSS Labelizer is a plus
  • Analytical thinking, enjoyment of testing and optimizing campaigns, and comfort with being accountable for revenue impact

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools
