About the Role
The Google Web Analytics and Tagging Specialist role at Spiralyze is a unique opportunity to work with a team of experts in the Conversion Rate Optimization sector. As a key member of the Analytics Team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining complex tracking systems, debugging issues, and providing insights to internal and external clients. What You Will Do
- Implement conversion tracking (forms, buttons, e-commerce, and other elements) to provide insights into customer behavior
- Verify and sanity-check conversion tracking implementation to ensure data accuracy
- Debug tracking issues and fix them to minimize data loss
- Check issues with test measurement on Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, and Hotjar to identify areas for improvement
- Create customized reports from Analytics and other sources to provide actionable insights
- Communicate with internal and external teams to win buy-in, explain issues, and communicate progress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tracking solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in digital analytics, including new tools and technologies
- Develop and maintain documentation of tracking implementations and solutions
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in managing Google Tags (GTM) for web properties
- At least 2 years of experience with website analytics tools, including Google Analytics, GA3/GA4
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- Proven experience in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Amplitude with a strong understanding of digital analytics and web traffic metrics
- Good-level knowledge in Web Analytics (strategy, requirements, implementation, validation, reporting), specifically with Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of third-party tagging, pixel creation, and other tracking technologies
- Experience in transitioning GA accounts from UA to GA4
- Fluent in spoken and written English communication
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with other analytics tools, such as Mixpanel or Chartbeat
- Knowledge of SQL and data querying languages
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in Google Analytics or other analytics platforms
