About the Role
The Google Workspace Administrator role is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of cloud platform migrations, security, and identity management. As a key member of the NirYu team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end migrations from Microsoft 365 or Exchange to Google Workspace, configuring and operating migration tools, and ensuring minimal business disruption.Day-to-day, the Google Workspace Administrator will be responsible for managing the Google Workspace Admin Console, provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in Google Workspace administration, migration tools, and DNS management.
The Google Workspace Administrator will be working in a fully remote environment, requiring strong autonomy and self-management skills. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced IT projects.
What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end migrations from Microsoft 365 or Exchange to Google Workspace
- Configure and operate migration tools such as GWMME, Google Transfer Tool, BitTitan, or equivalent
- Conduct pilot testing, data validation, and cut-over with minimal business disruption
- Document migration processes and provide post-migration support to end users
- Manage the Google Workspace Admin Console: users, groups, OUs, and policies
- Provision and deprovision accounts; manage licenses and device profiles
- Configure Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Vault, etc.) at the organizational level
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for configurations and procedures
- Implement and manage IAM policies: roles, permissions, and granular access controls
- Configure SSO (SAML/OIDC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and device compliance policies
What We Are Looking For
- Technical skills in Google Workspace administration, including Admin Console, APIs, and reporting tools
- Hands-on experience with O365 / Exchange to Google Workspace migrations
- Proficiency with migration tools: GWMME, Google Transfer Tool, BitTitan, or similar
- DNS management experience: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC – configuration and troubleshooting
- IAM experience: role management, security groups, SSO, MFA, and device policy enforcement
- Familiarity with Google Vault (eDiscovery & retention), Admin SDK, and audit tools
- Conversational English – required for client communication, documentation, and technical calls
- Spanish fluency (native or advanced)
- Strong autonomy and self-management in fully remote environments
- Clear technical communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced IT projects
Nice to Have
- Google Workspace Administrator or Google Cloud Professional certification
- Experience with Google Cloud Identity or Workspace for Education
- Basic scripting skills (Google Apps Script, Python) for task automation
