About the Role

The Governance, Risk, & Compliance Program Manager will play a crucial role in building and maintaining compliance programs across Dropbox's product set. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product, to design, implement, and coordinate programs that promote user trust and manage risks to their data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance and risk management, with excellent communication and project management skills.

As a key member of the Governance, Risk, & Compliance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to promote user trust and confidence in Dropbox's products and services.

The Governance, Risk, & Compliance team is a growing and dynamic team that is responsible for protecting Dropbox and its users from risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. As a Compliance Program Manager, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to building trust and promoting transparency in all aspects of Dropbox's business.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement compliance programs that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and coordinate programs that promote user trust and manage risks to their data
  • Identify and mitigate risks to Dropbox's products and services
  • Develop strategies to promote user trust and confidence in Dropbox's products and services
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement compliance programs
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance programs and policies
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics and key performance indicators
  • Develop and maintain compliance documentation and records
  • Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including data protection and privacy laws
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with compliance management systems and tools
  • Certification in compliance or risk management, such as CCEP or CRISC
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as law, business, or finance

Nice to Have

  • Experience in cloud storage or technology industry
  • Knowledge of IT security and risk management frameworks, such as NIST or ISO 27001
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Certification in data protection or privacy, such as CIPP or CIPM
