About the Role

Anthropic is seeking a Government Incentives & Economic Development Lead to drive efforts in identifying, securing, and managing federal, state, and local tax and non-tax incentives. This role sits within Anthropic’s Finance/Tax organization and works in close partnership with various teams across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead incentive projects across multiple jurisdictions and manage a portfolio of incentives, concessions, and agreements
  • Analyze expansion plans, capital projections, and hiring timelines to determine incentive eligibility
  • Arrange and attend meetings with government officials, economic development authorities, and utility representatives

  • Ability to navigate complex multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments and build productive relationships with government officials and economic development authorities
