About the Role

The Group Health Operations Manager is a key leadership position at Dane Street, responsible for overseeing the overall profitability of the regional operations center. This includes driving revenue growth, managing staffing efficiencies, and ensuring high-quality customer service. What You Will Do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the regional operations center, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage and analyze key performance metrics, including scheduling best practices, turnaround time requirements, and quality assurance targets
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff members to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to meet business objectives
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and handle discipline and termination of employees as needed
  • Build relationships with key physicians to ensure panel retention and negotiate contracts as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Coordinate with other support departments, such as human resources, finance, and IT, to ensure successful production operations
  • Determine labor needs to meet production goals and adjust staffing levels accordingly
  • Present regular reports to management on key performance metrics and business objectives

What We Are Looking For

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration or business
  • RN or LPN license required
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
  • Utilization review experience required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines
  • Computer literacy and typing skills essential
  • Experience with Excel and other digital tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
