About the Role
The Growth Account Executive role at Wiz is a pivotal position that involves working closely with SMB customers in Japan to understand their business needs and provide tailored cloud security solutions. This role is crucial in driving the company's growth in the Japanese market and contributing to the global effort to secure cloud environments. As part of a dynamic team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals who share a passion for innovation and customer satisfaction.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cloud security landscape and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
What You Will Do
- Develop and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas
- Demonstrate an intimate understanding of Wiz Cloud Security Solutions and their value to customers in the growth segment
- Position and advise CISO level executives with industry Point-of-View business insights
- Continue to listen, build, and grow executive relationships with customers
- Align with Wiz's partner ecosystem to optimize market opportunity
- Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Executive teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to help improve customer satisfaction and product development
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years selling SMB/Mid-Enterprise solutions in the SaaS/Security space
- Proven track record of effective selling within the specific geographical territory listed
- Good standing relationships with previous sales operation teams
- Ability to build great internal partnerships with key business units and their stakeholders
- A consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers
- Ability to pivot in a meeting vs. sticking to a script
- A proven track record managing accounts in cloud or cybersecurity ecosystem to elevate the business
- Strong understanding of cloud security solutions and the ability to articulate their value
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
