## About the Role The Growth Marketer for Korea will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Arno's marketing strategy in the Korean market. This involves a deep dive into understanding where the target audience, comprising Korean students aged 16–24 interested in studying abroad at English-medium universities, spends their time online and building a significant presence in those platforms. The role is not only about developing a strategy but also about its execution, requiring a hands-on approach to content creation, community engagement, and partnership building.

Day-to-day, the Growth Marketer will navigate a variety of tasks, from analyzing market trends and competitor activity to creating and publishing educational content on platforms like Naver. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial, given the role's requirement for self-directed work.

The successful candidate will report directly to Otto, Arno's co-founder and CEO, and will be part of a lean, results-oriented team that values flexibility and autonomy. This setup allows for significant flexibility in structuring work hours, ideal for those who thrive in remote, low-meeting environments.

## What You Will Do - Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the Korean market, focusing on digital channels and platforms popular among the target audience.

• Publish high-quality, engaging blog posts and educational content on Naver and other relevant Korean platforms to attract and retain the target audience.
• Engage actively with potential customers in online communities such as Naver Cafe and KakaoTalk, addressing questions and providing insights about English proficiency tests and Arno's products.
• Build, manage, and nurture relationships with Korean content creators, including but not limited to affiliate and influencer partnerships, to expand Arno's reach and credibility in the market.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activities in the Korean market.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing data-driven insights to optimize future marketing strategies.
• Develop and manage a budget for marketing initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
• Identify opportunities for growth and propose new marketing strategies or initiatives to pursue.

• Fluency in English, with the ability to produce high-quality content that requires a solid command of the language.
• Deep understanding of the Korean study-abroad landscape, including current trends and challenges.
• Strong knowledge of Korean digital marketing channels, including but not limited to Naver Blog, Naver Cafe, and KakaoTalk.
• Self-directed and comfortable working with a high degree of independence in a remote setting.
• Experience in marketing, preferably in the education or digital marketing sector.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data for marketing insights.

• Familiarity with content management systems and blogging platforms.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines.
