Job Description
About the Role
As a Growth Product Manager at AltaML, you'll be responsible for driving the growth and adoption of the company's products. This will involve working closely with the customer success team to identify areas for improvement and developing solutions to address them. You'll be the connective tissue between the customer success team and the engineering team, ensuring that customer feedback is incorporated into the product roadmap.The role will involve defining and owning product growth metrics, such as activation rates and retention, and identifying areas where dealers stall in the product journey. You'll design and run experiments to improve adoption and work with the engineering team to ship growth features quickly.
What You Will Do
- Define and own product growth metrics, such as activation rates and retention
- Identify areas where dealers stall in the product journey and develop solutions to address them
- Design and run experiments to improve adoption
- Work with the engineering team to ship growth features quickly
- Collaborate with the customer success team to identify and resolve process bottlenecks
- Develop onboarding, education, and activation experiences as core product features
- Write product updates and dealer-facing communications that are clear and effective
- Translate customer feedback into structured product insights
- Prioritize ruthlessly based on what moves the metrics
- Work with Engineering, Design, and Technical Product Managers to ship growth features fast and learn from them
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on growth, activation, or retention metrics
- Experience owning growth, activation, or retention metrics in a B2B SaaS environment
- Background in customer success, account management, or field enablement
- B2B2C experience, with an understanding of what it means to drive value at two layers of a customer relationship simultaneously
- Familiarity with how equipment dealerships operate, including service departments and parts counters
- Proven ability to influence without authority, cross-functionally, and with customers who didn't ask for change
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Data-literate, with the ability to set up metrics, interpret results, and change course based on what you learn
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the heavy equipment or agriculture industry
- Familiarity with Adjust or other mobile analytics platforms
- Certification in product management or a related field
