GSI Portfolio Quality Leader

About the Role

As a Quality Leader, you will be responsible for the quality segment of GSI NAM, from inquiry to order, order to remittance, including closeout and warranty on projects. This includes developing and delivering documented quality deliverables for the project to the customer and supplier, while ensuring GSI NAM's Quality program is thoroughly represented in all offerings.

The role requires working closely with suppliers and sub-contractors to deliver equipment and construction requirements, identifying and communicating equipment and site work deliverables with suppliers and sub-contractors, and ensuring compliance to all quality requirements from Project Management process and GEV standards.

What You Will Do

• Lead a team of project quality engineers to support a portfolio of projects for key customers
• Identify quality deliverables as outlined in customer specifications and contracts
• Develop project quality engineers to support projects for various customers and with various equipment requirements
• Ensure compliance with GEV standards and quality requirements from Project Management process
• Develop and deliver documented quality deliverables for the project to the customer and supplier
• Support projects through inspections and factory acceptance testing
• Work closely with suppliers and sub-contractors to deliver equipment and construction requirements
• Identify and communicate equipment and site work deliverables with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Ensure equipment and site work deliverables are identified and communicated with suppliers and sub-contractors for the related project's scope of work
• Use experience and expertise to develop and deliver on quality requirements, solve problems, influence a quality-minded culture, and effect short-term and some long-term business goals

What We Are Looking For

• Strong experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in the tech industry
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team of project quality engineers
• Proficient in Excel and other quality management tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Experience in developing and delivering documented quality deliverables for projects
• Knowledge of GEV standards and quality requirements from Project Management process
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to influence a quality-minded culture

Nice to Have

• Experience in managing quality deliverables for large-scale projects
• Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations
• Certification in quality management, such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001
