What You Will Do
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable stay
- Handle guest inquiries, responding to questions and resolving any issues that may arise
- Assist with front desk operations, including checking in guests and handling payments
- Utilize digital tools and systems to manage bookings and guest information
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve exceptional customer service standards
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the resort and its facilities, as well as the local area and its attractions
- Respond to customer feedback, using it as an opportunity to improve service and standards
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with RMS or a similar Reservation Booking System
- Proficient computer skills, particularly MS Office
- Well-presented, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexible with work hours, including weekends and public holidays
- A valid driver's license is essential
- Ability to lift up to 20kg, kneel, and squat, as well as handle chemicals and utilize machinery
- Previous experience working in a remote location is desirable
Nice to Have
- Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Knowledge of local attractions and activities in the outback region
- Certification in first aid or emergency response
- Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
