## What You Will Do - Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget - Manage and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution - Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary - Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying areas for cost savings - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies - Collaborate with the design team to interpret and implement architectural plans - Source and procure materials, negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best value for money - Manage and maintain accurate records of projects, including progress reports, budgets, and compliance documentation - Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship
## What We Are Looking For - Proven experience in a building or construction management role, with a strong understanding of project management principles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions - Proficiency in digital tools, including project management software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office - Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies - Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with experience of managing project budgets - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations - Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction or a related field
