Job Description

## About the Role As a Head Housekeeping Attendant at Erbil Rotana, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping attendants to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met. This role is critical in providing an exceptional customer experience for guests, and your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be essential. You will be working closely with the housekeeping supervisor and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

The housekeeping team is the backbone of the hotel, and as a leader, you will be expected to motivate and guide your team to achieve exceptional results. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include receiving work assignments, keys, and supplies, as well as checking rooms to verify their status. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean, safe, and hygienic, and that any maintenance issues are reported promptly.

## What You Will Do - Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log book accurately - Check rooms to verify room status every morning - Inform valet service to collect guest clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services - Clean rooms and bathrooms, performing any combination of the following duties - Keep fire exits and stairways clear of any obstruction - Check and report any maintenance work required immediately - Update the Housekeeping Supervisor at regular intervals on the status of rooms - Maintain rooms assigned in a clean, safe, and hygienic state at all times - Pick up any litter from corridors and pathways - Provide turn-down service for all occupied guest rooms and expected arrivals in the evening
