About the Role
The Head of Advisor Recruiting at San Blas Securities is a pivotal position that involves leading and scaling the company's national recruiting efforts. - Lead the advisor transition process from initial contact through onboarding, ensuring a smooth integration into the company
- Partner with leadership on deal structuring and economics to ensure that transitions are profitable and align with the company's strategic goals
- Track and report recruiting metrics and pipeline activity to inform strategic decisions and optimize the recruiting process
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the financial advisory landscape, including trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including advisors, teams, and internal partners
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with advisor transitions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in recruiting financial advisors at a broker-dealer, RIA, or recruiting firm
- Proven track record of closing advisor transitions, with a strong understanding of payout structures, transition packages, and advisor economics
- Existing network of advisor relationships that can be leveraged to drive recruiting efforts
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate remote teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
