About the Role

The Head of Demand Generation at Softr is a key leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic demand generation initiatives. This role entails developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing a team of demand generation professionals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact. As a member of the marketing leadership team, the successful candidate will report to the CEO and work closely with the sales and product teams to drive business outcomes.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve managing the demand generation pipeline, setting and achieving pipeline and MQL targets, and overseeing the development and execution of full-funnel marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of paid media, email marketing, and campaign management, as well as experience with marketing automation and attribution infrastructure.

As a leader in the demand generation team, the Head of Demand Generation will be responsible for managing and developing a team of two demand generation professionals. This will involve coaching, mentoring, and providing guidance to ensure the team is equipped to drive revenue growth and achieve marketing goals.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Manage and optimize the demand generation pipeline to achieve pipeline and MQL targets
  • Oversee the development and execution of full-funnel marketing strategies, including paid media, email marketing, and campaign management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product, to ensure alignment and maximize impact
  • Manage and develop a team of demand generation professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to drive success
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing automation and attribution infrastructure
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations to drive business outcomes
  • Manage and allocate budget to maximize ROI and drive revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales and product teams, to ensure alignment and drive business outcomes

What We Are Looking For

  • 6-8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team, with a strong understanding of coaching, mentoring, and leadership
  • Experience with paid media, email marketing, and campaign management, with a strong understanding of marketing automation and attribution infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive business outcomes
  • Experience with HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation platform, with a strong understanding of when to automate and when to keep it simple
  • High ownership and grit, with the ability to operate like a founder of the function and drive success
  • Sharp written communication skills, with the ability to brief content teams, pitch leadership, and write clear and concise copy

Nice to Have

  • Experience with product-led growth (PLG) or product-led sales hybrid models
  • Experience with sales and marketing alignment, with a strong understanding of how to drive revenue growth through sales and marketing collaboration
