About the Role
The Head of Education Excellence is a pivotal role at Boundless Life, overseeing the entire education vertical across eight locations worldwide. As a seasoned education leader, you will be responsible for driving the company's educational vision, ensuring coherence and operational performance across all destinations. You will lead a globally distributed team of education specialists, site directors, and program leads, serving as the direct bridge between global ambition and local execution.Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve setting the strategic direction for education quality, anchoring the curriculum in project-based learning, and ensuring that every cohort delivers on the Boundless promise to families. You will partner with the COO on education strategy, resourcing, and decisions that shape the family experience at scale. With a strong focus on community and holistic education, you will inspire curiosity, build resilience, and nurture a global perspective in students.
What You Will Do
- Lead the full Education Excellence team, including curriculum specialists, program and learning design teams, WASC and accreditation, summer camps, education center directors, and student support functions
- Set the strategic direction for education quality across all sites, ensuring that every cohort delivers on the Boundless promise to families
- Own the rollout and continuous improvement of the core competency framework, operationalizing it consistently across all locations
- Partner with the COO on education strategy, resourcing, and decisions that shape the family experience at scale
- Build the infrastructure that enables Education Center Directors to lead with clarity, including clear decision rights, defined boundaries, structured support, and meaningful feedback loops
- Train and hold Education Center Directors accountable for being strong instructional coaches, effectively observing, giving quality feedback, and developing their educators
- Design and deliver structured onboarding for new Education Center Directors, equipping them to lead confidently within their first 90 days
- Lead the annual performance review and planning process for Education Center Directors, identifying areas for growth and development
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, educational institutions, and community partners
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in education leadership, with a strong track record of driving innovation and excellence
- Expertise in project-based learning, curriculum design, and educational technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency in Excel and other educational software
- Experience working in a global or remote team environment, with a strong understanding of cultural diversity and adaptability
