About the Role

The Head of Engineering at A1 will play a critical role in driving the company's technical vision and strategy. What You Will Do

  • Lead the engineering team in the development and implementation of A1's AI-powered chat app
  • Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps to achieve the company's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the engineering team is aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the engineering team
  • Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and testing of software applications
  • Ensure that the engineering team is following best practices and industry standards for software development
  • Develop and manage the engineering team's budget and resource allocation
  • Hire, train, and manage engineering staff, including providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the engineering team is aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve the engineering team's processes and procedures
