About the Role

The Head of Finance for North America at Adyen will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and growth in the region. What You Will Do

  • Ensure operational cohesion across regional teams and alignment with the global finance organization
  • Manage regional regulatory and financial complexities, including compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Navigate local market realities and bring regional insights back into global decision-making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial leadership, finance teams, and external partners
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the business
  • Drive strategic partnership with commercial leadership, ensuring that financial priorities are aligned with business objectives

What We Are Looking For

  • 15+ years of experience in senior finance roles within a global organization
  • Experience partnering closely with commercial leadership teams
  • Strong background in finance, with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Strong financial judgment and ability to make informed decisions
  • Experience operating across multiple finance domains, including tax, treasury, and strategic finance

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of ambiguity and complexity
