About the Role
The Head of Forward Deployment Engineering at Parloa is a critical role that oversees the success of enterprise AI deployments. As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for building and leading a world-class organization that delivers predictable, high-quality, and scalable enterprise implementations. Your mission is to ensure that what Parloa deploys repeatedly becomes productized, and you will define the operating model, elevate technical standards, and build leadership capacity within the organization.The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise AI adoption and the ability to shape how Parloa scales its solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that field insights are fed back into product and platform evolution. Your team will be responsible for delivering excellence across projects, and you will ensure that what you deploy strengthens the product rather than fragmenting it.
As a leader, you will be responsible for establishing strong performance standards and accountability frameworks while ensuring a culture of ownership. You will also define quality benchmarks for architecture, security, reliability, and maintainability. Your team's work will have a direct impact on Parloa's success, and you will be expected to drive innovation and SPARKLING new ideas.
What You Will Do
- Establish scalable delivery models, including pods, vertical focus, and specialization layers
- Balance customization and productization to maximize impact and margin
- Build and develop a high-performance organization by hiring, coaching, and developing Team Leads and senior FDEs
- Establish strong performance standards and accountability frameworks
- Ensure predictable, high-quality enterprise delivery by implementing scalable capacity planning, forecasting, and utilization management
- Standardize project governance, including risk management, escalation paths, and dependency tracking
- Define quality benchmarks for architecture, security, reliability, and maintainability
- Ensure strong production stability in enterprise environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure field insights are fed back into product and platform evolution
- Define the operating model and elevate technical standards within the organization
What We Are Looking For
- Strong technical background in AI, software development, or a related field
- Experience with Excel and scalable delivery models
- Proven leadership experience in building and leading high-performance teams
- Strong understanding of enterprise AI adoption and its challenges
