Job Description
About the Role
The Head of Growth role at TalentCloud Group is a senior, hands-on leadership position that requires a deep understanding of how technical users adopt software and how companies buy security infrastructure. As the owner of the full growth lifecycle, you will build and scale the go-to-market engine, driving the next stage of scale for the company's open-source, zero-trust networking platform. You will work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to optimize onboarding, activation, and monetization, as well as hire and lead a high-leverage growth team as the organization scales.The company's mission is to make advanced network security accessible to every modern organization, and as the Head of Growth, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal. Your expertise in growth metrics, funnels, and experimentation will be essential in designing and executing a product-led growth motion that converts open-source and self-serve users into paying customers.
What You Will Do
- Own the full growth lifecycle: acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion
- Build and lead the growth function across marketing, lifecycle, revenue operations, and partnerships
- Design and execute a product-led growth motion that converts open-source and self-serve users into paying customers
- Develop the demand engine across SEO, content, community, lifecycle, and partner channels
- Run experiments, define growth metrics, and turn insights into scalable systems
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to optimize onboarding, activation, and monetization
- Hire and lead a high-leverage growth team as the organization scales
- Own the growth tech stack (CRM, analytics, attribution, automation)
- Build and manage cross-functional growth teams
- Collaborate with founders and product leadership to drive growth strategy
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or revenue leadership within B2B SaaS, developer tools, or security infrastructure
- Proven success in scaling self-serve, PLG, or community-driven products
- Strong command of growth metrics, funnels, attribution, and experimentation
- Experience selling or marketing to DevOps, IT, or security teams
- Experience building and managing cross-functional growth teams
- Familiarity with modern growth stacks (HubSpot, Segment, Amplitude, PostHog, etc.)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in open-source ecosystems
- Background in cybersecurity, networking, or infrastructure tools
- Experience scaling through Series A and beyond
