About the Role
The Head of Investment Products at Mercury will play a crucial role in leading the company's investment efforts across both business and personal investing products. This role will require a unique blend of investment leadership, product development, and regulatory expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the overall direction for Mercury's investment products, including Treasury and Invest, and will serve as President of Mercury Advisory and CEO of the introducing broker-dealer.The role will involve working closely with various teams, including product development, brokerage operations, and compliance. The candidate will need to have a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and the ability to navigate complex compliance issues. What You Will Do
- Set the overall direction for Mercury's investment products, including Treasury and Invest
- Serve as President of Mercury Advisory and CEO of the introducing broker-dealer
- Oversee brokerage operations and ensure regulatory compliance
- Foster relationships with key partners, including custodians, fund managers, and critical vendors
- Build a culture that values analytical rigor, regulatory integrity, and product-minded thinking
- Act as the senior decision-maker on regulatory and business risk matters for Mercury's investment entities
- Represent the company in regulatory matters and ensure that all investment products and services are delivered with the highest level of quality and consistency
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expansion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver new investment products and services
What We Are Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in investment management, asset management, or wealth management
- Meaningful time spent in a leadership role at an RIA, ideally one affiliated with a broker-dealer
- Eligibility to serve as a president of a registered investment adviser and a principal of a broker-dealer
- Series 24 license or ability to obtain one
- Experience owning trading operations and overseeing best-execution responsibilities
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and ability to navigate complex compliance issues
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders

- Experience with digital banking and fintech products
