About the Role

The Head of Product Led Growth Marketing at Confluent is a pivotal role that requires a unique blend of digital marketing expertise, product understanding, and leadership skills. This position entails developing and executing product-led growth strategies that drive user adoption, retention, and revenue growth. The successful candidate will lead a team of marketers and work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize impact.

Day-to-day, the Head of Product Led Growth Marketing will focus on analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth. This involves staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing tools and technologies, as well as understanding the evolving needs of Confluent's customer base. The role reports to the VP of Marketing and is part of the company's senior leadership team.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product-led growth marketing strategies that align with Confluent's business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of marketers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer data to inform product development and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with the product team to prioritize features and roadmap based on market and customer feedback
  • Work with the sales team to develop targeted marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth
  • Design and implement A/B testing and experimentation to optimize marketing campaigns and product features
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure ROI and efficiency
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry influencers
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on product-led growth and B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record of driving user adoption and revenue growth through marketing campaigns and product development
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, social media, content marketing, and paid advertising
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and technologies, such as Marketo or HubSpot
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a remote team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like GitHub
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
