## About the Role As the Head of Sales at artificial, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company's presence in the specialty insurance market. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing complex sales processes, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding. The role of the Head of Sales is crucial in artificial's mission to transform the specialty insurance market. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure the team's success. You will also work closely with the Client Success, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to onboarding and to identify new business opportunities.

## What You Will Do - Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes, managing senior relationships and navigating internal sign-off structures - Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company's presence in the specialty insurance market - Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite and senior executives at broker and carrier companies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Success, Product, and Delivery, to ensure seamless onboarding and to identify new business opportunities - Develop and embed robust sales processes, forecasting discipline, and CRM hygiene across the sales team - Recruit and develop a high-performing sales team as the business scales - Provide market intelligence and commercial insight to inform pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions - Represent artificial at industry events and with target prospects as a credible voice in the specialty insurance market - Manage deal timelines, identify blockers early, and mobilize internal resources to keep momentum - Articulate the value of artificial's platform with credibility and precision to prospects and clients - Work closely with the Product team to provide feedback and input on product development and roadmap

## What We Are Looking For - A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior commercial roles, with a demonstrable track record of closing significant deals in the specialty insurance industry or a related field - Experience working with warm pipelines in high-trust, relationship-led markets, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - A natural closer, with the ability to read a room, build trust quickly, and bring complex, risk-averse organizations to a decision - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage credibly at board level and translate technical propositions into clear commercial narratives - Highly numerate, with the confidence to model and negotiate commercial terms, understand client financials, and price creatively where needed - A strong bias for action, with the ability to set priorities, cut through ambiguity, and measure themselves by outcomes rather than activity - Resilience and energy, with the ability to thrive in a scaling business where pace matters and process is still being built - Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools, with the ability to develop and embed robust sales processes and forecasting discipline - A strong understanding of the specialty insurance market, with the ability to provide market intelligence and commercial insight to inform pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions
