About the Role
As the Head of Sales Enablement at Cohere, you will be responsible for developing and executing a world-class sales enablement strategy that drives revenue growth and expands the company's market share. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build processes, tools, and training programs that have a measurable impact on sales performance. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to ensure that the sales team is equipped to win in complex, high-stakes deals.The sales enablement function is critical to Cohere's success, as it provides the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and support to effectively communicate the value of the company's AI solutions to customers. As the leader of this function, you will be expected to design and launch a sales enablement strategy that aligns with the company's revenue and product evolution goals.

What You Will Do
- Design and launch a sales enablement function that includes strategy, frameworks, and team structure
- Develop a multi-year roadmap for sales enablement that aligns with Cohere's revenue and product evolution goals
- Create and curate high-impact sales enablement resources, such as playbooks, battle cards, demo scripts, and certification programs
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product leadership to embed sales enablement into every stage of the sales lifecycle
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives and refine the strategy accordingly
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales enablement team that is focused on continuous improvement
- Oversee the budget for sales enablement tools and programs to maximize efficiency and ROI
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute account-based marketing strategies
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's AI solutions and the competitive landscape
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, with a proven track record of building and scaling sales enablement functions in fast-growing tech companies
- Ability to design and execute long-term sales enablement strategies that align with business goals and market shifts
- Mastery of enterprise sales methodologies, such as MEDDIC and Challenger Sale
- Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights that inform sales enablement strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Experience in AI/ML or enterprise software sales is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with sales enablement tools and platforms, such as Showpad and Bigtincan
- Certification in sales enablement or instructional design
- Familiarity with scaling sales enablement in hyper-growth environments
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Tableau and Salesforce Analytics
