About the Role
The Head of Solutions Architecture at Cohere is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through the development and delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions. As a key member of the team, you will lead a global team of solutions architects, ensuring they are equipped to win deals and deliver value to customers. - Drive revenue growth by leading the development and execution of technical sales strategies
- Scale a high-performing global solutions architecture team, ensuring they are equipped to win deals and deliver value to customers
- Own the sales pipeline, partnering with the sales team to identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities
- Design winning AI solutions that address complex enterprise challenges and differentiate Cohere in the market
- Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure Cohere's platform evolves to meet customer needs and drives competitive advantage
- Establish industry-leading best practices for agentic AI, model customization, and enterprise deployment
- Optimize sales processes, from proposal development to customer onboarding, to maximize efficiency and win rates
- Architect and deliver end-to-end AI solutions, designing scalable, secure, and customizable NLP and generative AI solutions
- Lead technical engagements with C-suite executives and stakeholders, including workshops, deep dives, and solution presentations
- Oversee the deployment and integration of LLMs and custom solutions into production environments
- Mentor and guide the solutions architecture team, fostering technical excellence and sales leadership skills
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML solution architecture, with a proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise projects
- Strong background in AI solution architecture, with expertise in HubSpot, Salesforce, and Excel
- Experience in driving revenue growth through technical sales strategies
- Proven ability to scale and lead high-performing teams
- Strong technical expertise, with the ability to design and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams
- Experience in establishing industry-leading best practices for agentic AI, model customization, and enterprise deployment
Nice to Have
- Experience in working with frontier AI models and large language models
- Knowledge of cloud-based AI solutions and deployment strategies
- Familiarity with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
