About the Role

The Head of Technical Alliances and Developer Ecosystem at Cribl is a pivotal role that goes beyond traditional alliances, focusing on platform ecosystem leadership. This position is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of strategic technology alliances, developer ecosystem strategy, and monetization. The ideal candidate will operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, GTM, and Partners, shaping Cribl into a programmable AI platform for telemetry.

Cribl is at an inflection point, aiming to establish a developer-first telemetry platform, a partner-powered data ecosystem, and a new control plane for telemetry in the AI era. This role is crucial in making that vision a reality.

What You Will Do

  • Formulate and implement a sophisticated Build-With strategy with leading cloud and technology partners.
  • Establish and nurture high-level relationships with key partners to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Identify and pursue innovative partnership opportunities, leading the planning and implementation of advanced reference architectures and integrations.
  • Define and execute Cribl’s Developer Ecosystem strategy, focusing on building a platform that attracts developers.
  • Drive ecosystem positioning and technical evangelism through events, hackathons, and dev advocacy.
  • Co-own App Marketplace / Repository strategy, including packaging, pricing, and monetization models.
  • Design and oversee the execution of comprehensive multi-year strategies for strategic alliances.
  • Enable partners with best practices, cutting-edge tools, resources, and training to integrate and market joint solutions seamlessly.
  • Spearhead deep technical integrations between Cribl products and partner solutions for optimal interoperability.
  • Lead collaborative efforts on joint marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and drive demand.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in technical alliances, partnership development, or a related field, with a strong understanding of GTM strategies.
  • A deep understanding of cloud, security, and AI technologies, and their applications in real-world scenarios.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with high-level partners.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving mutual growth.
  • Experience in developer ecosystem development and monetization strategies.
  • Knowledge of App Marketplace / Repository management and strategies.
  • Familiarity with technical evangelism and community building.
