About the Role

Your day-to-day activities will involve leading client engagements, mentoring teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives. You will be responsible for assessing current-state finance processes, controls, and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Your deep understanding of financial models, assumptions, and strategic initiatives will support effective decision-making for your clients.

What You Will Do

• Lead healthcare finance and accounting advisory engagements from assessment through implementation, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, delivering actionable insights to drive performance, profitability, and growth.
• Assess current-state finance processes, controls, and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement future-state finance functions aligned with leading practices, such as close optimization, standardization, and system integration.
• Address client challenges across financial close, revenue recognition, FP&A, treasury, and finance operations, providing tailored solutions.
• Perform financial and operational analyses, including benchmarking, forecasting, and economic assessments, to inform strategic decisions.
• Evaluate financial models, assumptions, and strategic initiatives to support effective decision-making.
• Deliver high-quality client service by proactively managing issues, timelines, and engagement outcomes.
• Support engagements including financial planning, feasibility studies, due diligence, and strategic assessments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive repeat business and growth opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams through coaching, feedback, and performance management.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; master’s degree preferred.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership and review responsibilities.
• Healthcare experience required, with a deep understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities.
• Demonstrated client service experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay ahead of changes in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and healthcare trends.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Ability to travel for client engagements, as necessary.
