About the Role

The High School CRE Agriculture Teacher role at Stride, Inc. is a unique opportunity for an educator to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing high-quality instruction in a virtual environment. Missouri Teacher Certification in Agriculture is required, and candidates must reside in Missouri or surrounding states. What You Will Do

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in a virtual environment, focusing on agriculture and career readiness education
  • Develop, facilitate, and manage Career Readiness Education programs that support career pathways and integrated academics
  • Provide instructional leadership, community building, and human and financial resources management
  • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests and support their academic success
  • Monitor student progress through Stride K12's learning management system and actively work with students and parents/learning coaches to advance each student's learning
  • Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery and augment course content according to prescribed policies and procedures
  • Maintain grade books, ensure student academic integrity, and make student placement and promotion decisions
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and learning coaches to establish and maintain positive relationships
  • Travel occasionally throughout the year to various school functions, such as state testing or as otherwise required by the school

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture or education
  • 0-1 year of related professional experience
  • Missouri Teacher Certification in Agriculture
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel
