What You Will Do

• Translate documents from Korean to English, with a focus on biosciences and toxicology
• Review and edit translations to ensure accuracy and quality
• Work closely with the Ulatus team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure that all translations meet the highest standards
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in translation and localization
• Collaborate with other translators and checkers to share knowledge and expertise
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes and quality
• Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Adhere to Ulatus' quality and security protocols to ensure confidentiality and data protection

What We Are Looking For

• Native English speakers with excellent Korean language skills
• Degree in biosciences, toxicology, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in translation or a related field
• Strong understanding of translation principles and practices
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Familiarity with translation tools and software, such as CAT tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Certification in translation or a related field, such as ISO 17100:2015
• Experience working with translation agencies or localization companies
• Knowledge of other languages, such as Chinese or Japanese
• Familiarity with project management tools and software
• Experience working in a remote or freelance environment
