About the Role
The Home-Based Billing Coordinator role at DCX PH is an exciting opportunity for detail-oriented professionals to join a growing U.S.-based business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, processing invoices, and resolving discrepancies. Your strong organizational and communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same. You will need to be adaptable, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple tasks to meet payment deadlines. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be essential in troubleshooting billing discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and intermediate Excel skills. You will be working closely with the sales team to support their objectives and ensure accurate financial documentation and communication.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and process invoices from vendors and expense them to the appropriate purchase orders
- Troubleshoot issues related to vendor invoices, including discrepancies between expected and invoiced costs
- Enter and post A/P invoices in the company's accounting application
- Enter and post invoices to clients
- Print client invoices and distribute them via email
- Review and resolve issues related to invoices sent to clients, including charges to credit cards for completed projects
- Provide support to meet the sales team's objectives
- Achieve a full understanding of company policies and processes to apply them to client and vendor orders and inquiries
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure attention to detail in every aspect of the job
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet payment deadlines
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, and/or general accounting
- Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and report creation
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation
- Ability to work overnight or graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within U.S. operating hours
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus
