About the Role

The role of a Bilingual SSDI Attorney at Staff Outsource Solutions involves working closely with the company's legal team in a remote, part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will either be bilingual in Spanish or have experience practicing in SSDI law. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of legal documents, including case documents, legal briefs, and supporting materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and finalizing these documents prior to submission, ensuring compliance with applicable legal standards and court requirements.

The role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who is able to manage their workload independently and meet deadlines. The company is looking for a team player who can collaborate with other attorneys and staff to maintain consistency and quality in filings. The position also offers the potential to expand to full-time (40 hours/week) based on caseload and performance.

As part of the legal team, the Bilingual SSDI Attorney will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations for case improvement where applicable. What You Will Do

  • Review, edit, and finalize legal documents and briefs for submission
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal standards and court requirements
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to maintain consistency and quality in filings
  • Provide insights and recommendations for case improvement where applicable
  • Work closely with the legal team to review and edit case documents, legal briefs, and supporting materials
  • Manage workload independently and meet deadlines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the legal team
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legal standards and court requirements
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and quality of legal document preparation

What We Are Looking For

  • Active U.S. Bar Membership in at least one state
  • Experience in SSDI law or fluency in Spanish
  • Strong legal writing, editing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
