About the Role
The HR Administrator role at CapsLock is a critical component of the company's success, responsible for managing day-to-day HR functions in a remote-first environment. This role entails overseeing HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting employee relations. As a key member of the team, the HR Administrator will work closely with various stakeholders to drive employee engagement, retention, and growth. - Manage employee records and HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with labor laws
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, providing support to new hires and departing employees
- Coordinate employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, providing guidance to employees as needed
- Assist in event management and team-building arrangements, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture
- Support key HR projects, including performance reviews, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to attract and retain top talent
- Develop and implement HR processes and procedures, continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function
- Provide support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, policies, and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in HR administration, preferably in a remote-first environment
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, including labor laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
- Experience with HR software and data management, including HRIS systems and benefits administration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in HR, such as SHRM or HRCI, is a plus
