About the Role
The HR Assistant role at Randstad USA is a 3-month contract position that requires a highly organized and compliant-driven individual to support the company's HR functions. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing digital workflows, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing administrative support to the HR department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a remote environment and be proficient in using digital tools to streamline HR processes.The role is part of a global team, and as such, you will be required to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and time zones. Your ability to work independently and manage your time effectively will be essential in this position. You will report directly to the HR Manager and will be responsible for providing support with various HR-related tasks.
What You Will Do
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, document management, and record-keeping
- Manage digital workflows, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including scheduling interviews and coordinating new hire paperwork
- Develop and maintain HR reports, spreadsheets, and databases
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including data protection and employee privacy
- Provide support with employee communications, including company-wide announcements and policy updates
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Assist with employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with the HR team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned by the HR Manager
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a remote or digital environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in digital tools, including HR software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline
- Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and precision
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including data protection and employee privacy
