## About the Role As an HR Business Partner at Cohere, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's growth and development. You will work closely with leaders across different functions to help build high-performing teams and drive business results. Cohere is a global technology company with a strong presence in London, and this role will be based in the London office. You will be working in a hybrid environment, with a mix of remote and in-person work. The HR Business Partner role is a key part of the People team, and you will be responsible for providing strategic support to leaders and teams. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and you will need to be adaptable and able to navigate ambiguity.
## What You Will Do - Partner with leaders to develop and implement organizational strategies that drive business results - Provide coaching and support to managers to help them develop their leadership skills - Develop and implement talent strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent - Work with leaders to design and implement organizational structures that support business goals - Provide support and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and other HR-related issues - Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support business objectives - Collaborate with the People team to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs - Analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions and drive organizational effectiveness - Develop and manage budgets to support HR initiatives and programs - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR and organizational development
## What We Are Looking For - 4-8 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role - Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment - Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to build strong relationships with leaders and teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with organizational design and development - Knowledge of talent management and development principles and practices - Experience working in a global or distributed organization
## Nice to Have - Experience working in the tech or AI industry - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices - Experience with HR systems and tools, such as Workday or BambooHR - Certification in HR, such as SHRM or HRCI
