About the Role
The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting hospital leadership across the full employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for delivering impactful talent solutions, driving measurable results, and building trusted partnerships with leaders. As part of The Aspen Group, the successful candidate will be working with the Lovet team, a modern veterinary care experience that's scaling nationally.The HR Business Partner will be working closely with hospital management, operational leaders, and veterinarians to elevate leadership capability and organizational performance. This role requires strong project management, facilitation, and communication skills to drive best-practice adoption and compliance at the hospital level.
What You Will Do
- Deliver timely HR reporting and insights to stakeholders and field teams to enable data-driven decision-making
- Partner with operations to drive best-practice adoption and compliance at the hospital level
- Serve as a strategic thought partner and accountability coach to hospitals in achieving revenue targets, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of patient care
- Collaborate with the learning and development team to design and execute field-facing training and onboarding programs
- Provide targeted recruitment support and help optimize the candidate interview experience
- Support hospital and operational leaders in managing staff and veterinarian performance
- Conduct regular hospital visits, document findings and action items, and communicate outcomes to ensure follow-through and measurable impact
- Serve as a liaison between hospitals and the practice support center, ensuring clear communication of people and culture initiatives
- Provide guidance on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance
What We Are Looking For
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Experience in HR, preferably in a business partner or generalist role
- Knowledge of HR principles, including talent management, employee relations, and compliance
- Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HR systems and tools, including Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the healthcare industry
Nice to Have
- Experience in the veterinary care industry
- Certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR
- Experience with learning and development programs
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
