About the Role
The HR Director will play a pivotal role in developing and executing scalable HR strategies to support Cultivar Asia's rapid global growth, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. This will involve driving talent management, organizational design, and leadership development, while cultivating an inclusive and engaging workplace culture. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the tech industry and the ability to navigate complex HR matters.As a key member of the senior leadership team, the HR Director will work closely with the CEO and other department heads to counsel on workforce planning, compensation, benefits, and critical HR matters. This will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders and foster collaboration.
The HR Director will also be responsible for building a strong Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and leading global employer branding initiatives to attract top talent in the industry. This will involve developing and executing strategies to enhance the company's reputation as a desirable place to work, while also ensuring that HR policies comply with local regulations and align with market conditions.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute scalable HR strategies to support rapid global growth
- Drive talent management, organizational design, and leadership development

- Optimize performance and engagement with robust HR systems
- Design competitive yet cost-efficient compensation, benefits, and HR practices
What We Are Looking For
- At least 10 years of HR leadership experience, with 5+ years heading HR in tech startups
- Proven success managing HR in fast-paced environments, including M&A and organizational restructuring
- Strong international HR experience, with a focus on Asia, China, and Europe
- Knowledge of local compliance and cultural dynamics
- Deep business acumen and a track record of executing strategic HR initiatives
- Expertise in talent acquisition, EVP, and employee engagement strategies
- A dynamic leader capable of inspiring and motivating diverse HR teams globally
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with HR systems and technology, such as HRIS and performance management software
- Knowledge of employment law and labor regulations in multiple countries
- Certification in HR, such as SHRM or HRCI
- Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives
