Job Description
About the Role
The HR Operations Analyst will be part of the Global HR Operations team, working from the Mumbai, India office. This is a 6-month fixed contract position, with a night shift schedule of 5:30 pm IST to 2:30 am IST or 6:30 pm to 3:30 am IST. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various HR operational activities, including employee records, payroll, and background checks. As a key member of the HR team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, providing support to the US region, and collaborating with other teams as needed. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.What You Will Do
- Create, update, and maintain employee records within the HR system
- Manage payroll submissions for joiners and leavers
- Conduct background checks for new joiners and rescreens
- Provide immigration support to new joiners and extensions
- Manage offboarding related processes
- Monitor a central HR mailbox and redistribute or action emails as required
- Prepare employee letters and documents from templates for the HR team
- Coordinate HR invoice processing with the Finance team
- Collaborate with the HR Tech team for system issues, mass uploads, or automation requests
- Liaise with the HR team and serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting employee data
- Conduct system reviews to ensure data integrity and consistency
What We Are Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in managing HR support activities
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of initiatives
- Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate initiative
- Professional and adaptable approach, with the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with HR systems and software
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations
- Certification in HR or a related field
