## About the Role As an HR & Payroll Specialist with German language skills, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll transactions for Strada Inc.'s clients in Germany. Your expertise will be essential in managing all aspects of payroll, from processing transactions to ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will work as part of a global team, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for managing payroll transactions, identifying deviations from standard procedures, and implementing corrective actions. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing. You will also be required to communicate effectively with clients, providing them with payroll-related information and resolving any issues that may arise.

## What You Will Do - Process German payroll from end to end, according to defined standards and client requirements - Monitor and manage ticket queues, ensuring that tickets are handled within defined timelines - Identify deviations from standard procedures and implement corrective actions - Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information - Produce and understand standard and client-specific payroll reports, including statutory year-end reporting needs - Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness, initiating corrections as needed - Answer German payroll-related questions and requests from clients and colleagues - Provide clear knowledge transfers to peers, supporting the development of the team - Support and manage system maintenance testing, ensuring the integrity of payroll systems - Coordinate and resolve technical issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders as needed - Maintain current knowledge of legislation requirements, system updates, and overall payroll procedures
## What We Are Looking For - Around 2-3 years of relevant experience in administering payroll in an HR consulting, HR outsourcing, or corporate environment - Very good English and German language skills (B2 minimum) - Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel - Ability to identify and mitigate risks, with a strong attention to detail - Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated and a willingness to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving - Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently
## Nice to Have - Experience with cloud-based payroll systems and technologies - Knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance requirements - Certification in payroll management or a related field
