About the Role

The HRBP Director, Global Sales at Twilio is a key leadership role that will serve as the single-threaded HR leader for the Global Sales Organization. This role will partner with global and regional sales leaders, the Self Serve business, and Local HRBPs to drive the people strategy for a book of business currently at $4B with ambitious goals of scaling to
0B over the next three years. The successful candidate will have deep domain expertise in Sales or Sales Tech, with a sophisticated understanding of sales motions across both small-business and enterprise scales.

As a trusted advisor to the SVP of Global Sales and her leadership team, this role will shape workforce strategies that scale teams, strengthen performance, and enable operational excellence across a globally distributed employee population. This is an Individual Contributor role with global influence, perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating across functions, shaping culture, and driving organizational effectiveness at scale.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP of Global Sales and her leadership team, providing strategic guidance on people and organizational development
  • Partner with global and regional sales leaders to drive the people strategy for the Global Sales Organization
  • Develop and implement scalable, future-oriented solutions to drive business growth and improve sales performance
  • Analyze data and market trends to inform people and organizational development strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Compensation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales leaders, HRBPs, and other business partners
  • Provide coaching and guidance to sales leaders on people management and development
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the business, including talent acquisition and retention
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to support people and organizational development initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR and sales

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on sales or sales tech
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving sales performance through people and organizational development strategies
  • Deep understanding of sales motions across small-business and enterprise scales
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience working in a global, distributed organization
  • Familiarity with HR systems and tools, including Workday and ADP
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze financial data

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a high-growth, technology company
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies
  • Experience with sales performance management and sales analytics
  • Certification in HR or a related field, such as SPHR or GPHR
