About the Role
The HSQE Advisor role at Civeo is a permanent position that involves working with a Tier 1 client in the hospitality industry at Prominent Hill. As an HSQE Advisor, you will be responsible for managing risks, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the well-being of employees, guests, and the environment.The HSQE Advisor will work closely with the hospitality team to identify and mitigate potential hazards, implement safety protocols, and provide training to staff. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working with various stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.

What You Will Do
- Implement HSEQ standards and procedures in hospitality and accommodation services
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks
- Provide training and guidance to staff on HSEQ policies and procedures
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to foster a culture of safety and quality
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, including metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop and maintain HSEQ documentation, including policies, procedures, and records
- Liaise with external partners, including regulatory bodies and contractors, to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards
What We Are Looking For
- Certificate III in Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification
- Current SA Manual Driver's Licence
- Experience implementing HSEQ standards in hospitality or accommodation services
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HSEQ management systems and software
- Certification in first aid and emergency response
Nice to Have
- Experience working in remote or isolated locations
- Knowledge of environmental management systems and sustainability practices
- Certification in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001
- Experience with risk management and compliance frameworks
