About the Role
The Human Resources Specialist role at Mavida Health is a critical component of the company's success, overseeing the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the growth of a global, remote workforce. Day-to-day, the role will entail managing HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and employee engagement. The Human Resources Specialist will work closely with the management team to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives and will be responsible for fostering a positive, inclusive company culture that encourages collaboration and productivity among distributed teams.Given the remote nature of the role, the ability to communicate effectively and manage projects independently will be essential. What You Will Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support business growth and employee development
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the hiring of top talent
- Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge, supporting continuous learning and development
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and feedback mechanisms
- Oversee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Analyze HR metrics to inform business decisions and improve HR processes
- Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring effective use of resources
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a remote or global environment
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and other digital tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience in talent development and performance management
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
